Carrie Underwood marries Mike Fisher
Carrie Underwood and Mike Fisher exchanged what their wedding planner called "a divine expression of their love' – a very special moment for a "very special cute pair,'under a tent on a Southern evening.The country star Carrie Underwood and her hockey player beau Mike Fisher tied the knot at the Ritz Carlton Reynolds Plantation in Georgia on Saturday.During the ceremony 250 friends and family members were present.The ceremony also includes featuring classical music and the couple's popular Bible readings. The newly married couple said PEOPLE in a statement, signing their names “Mike & Carrie Fisher that, We could not feel more blessed to have discovered one another and to have shared this beautiful day with our best friends and close family that mean so much to us!” Carrie Underwood wore a Chantilly lace dress made for Carrie wood by Monique Lhuillier, who also made the bridesmaids’ dresses as well. After dating around a year Mike Fisher, who plays for the Ottawa Senators was engaged to Underwood. “We'll be a little busy for a couple of days” and that they planned to keep homes in Nashville and in Peterborough, Ontario,Underwood told PEOPLE in March.
